“No one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit” 1 Cor. 12:3b
Anyone can utter the phrase “Jesus is Lord” but that doesn’t make it anymore profitable to salvation, than that true declaration from satan, “You are the Holy One of God” Mark 1:24.
The saving confession of Jesus with the lips, proceeds from believing on him with the heart, through spiritual discoveries by the Holy Spirit.
This is not a common privilege, but a special grace that you can see, come to, trust in and call Jesus of Nazareth your Lord and your God; in whom is all your hope, and from whom is all your salvation.
Such a confession of faith is declared by Christ himself as a blessing.
“Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven” Matt 16:17.
May this confession be uppermost in our minds, in our lips, and evidenced by our lives, that Jesus is Jehovah God. That our savior, the man and Mediator, our atonement on the cross, our righteousness in his life, our Intercessor at the right hand of the Father in glory; this is our plea, to all who are against us.
For our Savior is almighty to protect, ever loving to save.
